They were joined by 20 others who hopped on the treadmill to make a difference and raise much needed funds.
Anytime Fitness Australia teamed up with Suicide Prevention Australia again for the Plebs, Pros and Personalities 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge.
The challenge started at 3pm on May 25 and continued for 24 hours with four treadmills running around the clock.
Mr Roberts hoped their efforts would raise more than $1000 and thanked everyone involved for their support.
"We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone that got involved and supported the event. Whether they made it down or simply made a donation - thank you," he said.
"The main feedback was that everyone loved what we were doing. It was a great experience to see so many people coming together for a common cause.”
Mr Roberts said they were likely to host the event again in 2019.
"It's something we hope to hold it again next year and get even more support," he said.
According to Lifeline Australia statistics, for every death by suicide, it is estimated that as many as 30 people attempt to end their lives.
That is approximately 65,300 suicide attempts each year.
