A huge crowd gathered with exhibitors showcasing some of the best LEGO has to offer.
From the Taj Mahal to remote control cars, train sets and rocket ships there was something for everyone.
Run by Rainbow Bricks, a registered LEGO user group with the LEGO Group hosts events across NSW to help schools and charities raise funds.
Rainbow Bricks representative Phil Joy was amazed to see so many people turn out in support of the event.
"We opened the doors and people just rolled in. It was excellent," he said.
"It attracts every age. Kids like it, I have vintage stuff that adults can remember they had when they were kids. We're just really pleased with the turnout."
The organisation's aim is to showcase Lego and demonstrate what it can do. The possibilities are endless, Mr Joy said.
"It's pleasing to be able to provide a family day out with so much variety and interaction," he said.
"It's great for the imagination because you can dive into a fantasy world. You can make and do just about anything with LEGO.
"The moving LEGO seems to be most popular for the kids. They will sit there and watch it for ages."
Mr Joy said the return to Port Macquarie and the venue was excellent and they hoped to return in 2019.
"This is only the second time it's been in Port Macquarie and the first time at the Indoor Stadium," he said.
"The venue is great, it's big and still has room to expand. I wouldn't be surprised if we came back next year."
Their next exhibit will be in Newcastle in July.
