Mother’s Day was extra-special for one local Mum when she gave birth to her first son.
Little Lex Weaver came into the world early this morning, (Sunday) to the delight of his mother, Viahn Vu and father, Sam Weaver.
“I am feeling very good,” said Viahn, who was in labour for three hours at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
“It’s the best Mother’s Day present ever,” she smiled.
Dad Sam was there at her side and is also delighted.
“I didn’t know how it would go, but it was a good experience; I didn’t pass out or anything,” he said.
His big sister, Jasmin, who was born on Christmas Day four years ago, is also thrilled.
“He’s so cute,” she said, cuddling her baby brother.
“I love his dimples.”
