The catch-up match was played after the round three fixture was washed out last weekend.
Goals to Jarred Kohler, Harry Gordon, Matt Broderick and Matt Bale ensured United continued their unbeaten run.
Rob Holland converted a consolation penalty for the Redbacks in the dying minutes of the match.
United will now head to Coffs Harbour on the weekend to contest Round 4 of the FFA Cup.
They will face Urunga Raiders FC on Saturday at Coffs International Stadium with kick off at 2.00pm.
Should they progress, Round 5 takes place on the Sunday at the same venue with kick off set to be 10am.
Camden Haven will now face a tough trip south when they take on Wallis Lake at Boronia Park in Forster on Saturday.
The Redbacks who now have two wins and two losses will be keen to bounce straight back into the winners circle.
In the reserve grade encounter, Port United came away with a 4-0 victory over Camden Haven.
It was United's fourth win from their four opening matches to lock them in at top spot.
