The Magpies were outgunned by Sawtell in an opening round 14.13 (97) to 10.9 (69) defeat last weekend and will look to bounce back against a Tigers side who were no match for Coffs Breakers.
Port will look to inflict more pain on the Grafton side with most of their more experienced players expected to be better for the run last week.
Jesse Schmidt and Luke Boxhall led the way in Sawtell and club president Craig Dicker was hopeful they would continue their round one form.
“They should be in for a strong game,” he said.
“Most of our players will be back and we’re looking forward to playing the first game at home.
“We didn’t have a hit-out in the pre-season so there is still plenty to work on, but we should be better than last week.”
First bounce is at 2.20pm.
