People I speak to about the above letter question my credibility and tell me I must be mistaken.

I am not mistaken. The NSW LNP Government truly does have plans under new regulations before Parliament to ensure that the Mid North Coast native forests will soon disappear. That woodchips from these forests and the plantations that replace them will be burned in new power stations at Bulahdelah, Kempsey, Grafton and other locations.

By what right does this Government seize assets such as our native forests which rightfully belong to all of us and sell them off to corporations for their profit? By what right?

I dispair of local political representatives who appear to value money above all else.

Everybody – take a drive to your local forests now to see the destruction for yourselves.
