The event on June 30, at Rydges Port Macquarie, and according to organiser Natalie Junge it is shaping up to be a fantastic event.
“A group of friends and I started the high tea as a way to remember our friend who had passed away,” Ms Junge said.
“She was an avid supporter and volunteer with Camp Quality so we wanted to do something in her honour to raise funds for a cause close to her heart.
“Since the first year of the high tea, we have grown bigger and better and I think each year is more remarkable than the next.”
Ms Junge said all money raised will be going to Camp Quality to specifically help local families, and the relaxed afternoon is a chance for women to let their hair down and go out with the girls.
“Our high tea has become a calendar event with ladies coming from all over the Hastings as well as Taree and Kempsey to join in the fun,” she said.
“On the day we will have raffles, a photo booth, signature cocktails and so much more, so ladies grab your friends and book a table quick.”
Over the years the fundraiser has raised more than $65,000 for Camp Quality and Kate Woodfoye, area director of sales and marketing at Rydges Hotel said she can’t wait for the day.
“On the day one mother daughter duo will have a total makeover donated by local businesses along with an auction for a Silly Sunday Lunch where someone will have a Rydges chef come and cook at their home which is always an exciting part of the day,” Ms Woodfoye said.
“With an afternoon of champagne, cocktails great food and live entertainment you would be hard pressed to find a better event.”
The group are also looking for raffle donations so if you can help please call Natalie Junge on 0437 170 907.
