Casey and Chris Whitehouse were at a friend’s wedding when her waters broke. They rushed to Port Macquarie Base Hospital where Callen arrived, 18 days early, on March 25.
“We were super-excited to meet our surprise baby and quickly called my parents who were holidaying in New Zealand to come home,” Casey said.
“He is feeding and sleeping like a champ and has enjoyed meeting all of our close family and friends since arriving home. He was born with a full head of hair, loves cuddles and making many different facial expressions. He is our first child and the first grandchild on both sides of the family.”
