Off the back of consistent sales figures for the area, one Port Macquarie real estate has claimed a new record for auction sales figures.
Elders Port Macquarie hosted a recent auction where three properties sold above a million dollars each on the one day.
The success of the auction day is being linked to director David Gray's 'Sydney influences' including Chanel Nine's The Block auctioneer Damien Cooley from Cooley Auctions.
"Elders were extremely fortunate to have Damien Cooley centre stage at the Elders Super Sunday Auction event which was held on Sunday March 18," Mr Gray said.
"The event was well received and well attended at Rydges Hotel, which is recognised as holding the most auctions in the country.
"Elders achieved more than $5 million in sales under the hammer, with one of the properties that was marketed by Corrine Cunningham, selling for a staggering $2,350,000.
"This is exciting times for real estate in Port Macquarie.
"Elders is setting a new benchmark for future expectations and putting our beautiful town even higher on the must buy list."
Elders has flagged another auction extravaganza for June with Danien Cooley likely to return for the event.
