The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital's Easter Saturday open day will help raise funds to continue the facilities work in rescues, rehabilitation and release of wild koalas.
The centre was established in 1973.
Organisers say the open day will start at 9am and concludes around 3pm.
"Whether you are young or old, the open day will have something for everyone," an organiser of the event said.
"There will be games, colouring in and face painting along with traditional stalls and entertainment. Food and drinks will also be available, on the day.
"We will also have a plant and craft stall, yummy food including cakes and slices along with books and lots of other goodies."
The fundraising day includes a traditional chocolate wheel, raffles and an auction of donated gifts.
Sing Australia, the Koala Orchestra, Z Chords and belly dancers form part of the entertainment package.
"This is our major fundraiser for the year," the organiser said.
Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is recognised world-wide as a peak body which participates in forums for debate on significant policy issues and plays a significant leadership role in research, providing advice and information to Universities and Governments regulating change.
