Bago Vineyards will host the 20th annual grape stomping championships on Sunday.
Starting as a one-off fun day, the stomp is now a popular addition and attraction to the monthly music days formerly known as the long-running Jazz in the Vineyards.
Bago Vineyards spokesperson Ian Adams said the grape stomp is more fun than technique.
"On Sunday competitors will once again take to the half barrels and attempt to stomp as many litres from their allocated 10kgs of grapes," he said.
"The winner is the team having the most litres of juice.
"Last year's winning pair stomped a credible 5.5 litres, but that was a long way short of the record amount of 7.2 litres set a number of years ago."
Teams of two people must stomp the grapes for 60 seconds, then are given a further 30 seconds to wring the remaining juice from the grapes. The winner being the team that has the most juice.
Teams wishing to participate in the stomp must sign up on Sunday by 11.30am at the cellar door.

While the focus is on the championship, there is also another event on that day that is low on technique and high on competitiveness - the media grape stomp, Mr Adams said.
"In the Media Grape Stomp last year's winners Hit FM will once again back up to defend their title.
"They will be up against fellow media types, Port Macquarie News/Express, Wauchope Gazette, 2WAY FM, 93.5FM and Prime7 who have indicated their intention to compete in Sunday's event."
Local band BK Blue will provide the music entertainment with catering provided by XS Foods and freshly shucked oysters from Tunstead Oysters.
The ever popular Bago cheese platters will be available with the coffee bar open for coffee lovers. The cellar door will be open for tastings and sales with along with the chocolate shop.
Entry to Bago Vineyards is free however admission charges do apply for entry to the Bago Maze.
Gates open at 10am, with music from 11am. The Media Grape Stomp is on at noon with the stomp championships commencing around 12.30pm.
