A maximum of 25 degrees is predicted on Monday and 26 degrees on Tuesday.
Weatherzone meteorologist Brett Dutschke said showers were possible through to Tuesday but there would not be a lot of rain.
“There is potential for a bit over 10mm in the area but I think the likely amount is about 5mm,” he said.
The brisk southerly winds are predicted to ease mid-week when the wind will change direction.
Mr Dutschke said sunshine would then be back with warmer conditions and afternoon sea breezes.
Temperatures are predicted to rise above average from Thursday onward with the temperature expected to climb to 32 degrees on Friday.
A run of warm weather is tipped to extend into the following week.
