Bobbi and Levi Ward, who goes to Telegraph Point Public School, have also qualified for the event and will join sister Franki at Tamworth on January 25, 26 and 27.
Levi enters the competition ranked number one in the eight to 11-year-old steer ride and second in the under-11 barrel race.
The courageous nine-year-old, who aspires to become a professional bull rider and contested 68 rodeos last year to prepare for that career, is also the top ranked all-round junior cowboy after dominating multiple disciplines in 2017. Most recently, on a trip down south, he claimed victories in the steer ride at Jindabyne and Moruya, and second place at Nowra.
12-year-old Bobbi, who will start Westport High School soon, enters nationals ranked number three in the 11 to 14-year-old barrel race. She recorded some outstanding results in 2017 including an emphatic triumph at the Moombi Magic event.
Cowgirl Bobbi shares her sisters love of the sport and adoration for equines, and is looking forward to putting her horse, Thunder, through his paces at the finals.
The Ward family would like to thank Levi’s sponsors, Tumblegum Bakehouse, Mavin Truck Centre, RedPoint, NRMA Kempsey, and Kempsey Stock and Land.
