A highlight in the local calendar, you won’t want to miss this local collaboration and celebration of oysters and fine wine, with live music in their beautiful grounds.
Club Cassegrain manager Josh Moses said that the historic event will be one for the whole family.
“We have been putting on this event for a number of years and love the opportunity to showcase our wines along with great local produce from the region. The festival has a special emphasis on oysters as the Hastings is home to the Sydney Rock Oyster plus everyone knows oysters and wine go so well together.” Mr Moses said.
Set in the charming vineyard, patrons can wander through the stunning manicured gardens.
“After the recent rain in the Port Macquarie Hastings area our grounds are looking magnificent,” he said.
Food lovers can taste their way through a range of oysters from local suppliers Armstrong Oysters and Tunstead Oysters.
“It is all about great food and a relaxing fun day, sampling the best produce in the region.”
Cassegrains award-winning wines will be available to purchase, along with local beer ‘Hops and Tales’ and a selection of other foodvendors.
Alexis Jade and The Cedar Creek band will be performing, giving everyone an opportunity to relax or get up for a dance. You will also be able to experience an oyster and wine matching masterclass and come away with the knowledge to impress at your next function or event
The festival will also feature activities for the kids and even if it rains the festival will go ahead as there is over 1000 square metres of undercover space for the fun to continue.
“Regardless of the weather the Oysters in the Vines festival will go on as we have a wet weather contingency plan.
“It is a really family friendly event and we are wanting as many people as possible to bring the family and stay for the afternoon.
“Bring your own picnic rug and/or deck chairs, ready for a fabulous day of wining, dining and relaxation in a picturesque vineyard setting.”
