Pirates claimed early-season bragging rights with an 80-run win in round one.
Macquarie captain Craig Roser will look for an improved performance with the bat from his side.
“We didn’t bat well in the first game,” he said.
“Hopefully we can spend a bit more time out in the middle and set a target of 200.”
Roser said Pirates fast bowler Paul Stait was one of a few keys to beating them.
He was hopeful of having Ethan Hyde at the top of the order.
Pirates were in the middle of a challenge at Beechwood last weekend when the rain came.
After Beechwood won the toss and elected to bat first, they were on their way to a substantial target of 8-162 in the 32nd over.
