Ferocious winds and rain have battered the Hastings this week, with storms producing wild weather and in some cases damage to homes, trees and power lines along the Mid North Coast.

However with wild storms, come spectacular sunsets and opportunities to capture the beauty of the region after the damage, with a number of our Instagram friends braving the elements to explore.
Weatherzone meteorologist Tom Hough, said that despite the weekend storm cell being over, rain is expected in the Hastings until November 10.
“We are expecting rain fall to linger for most of Wednesday (November 8), and isolated showers for the rest of the week, clearing by the weekend,” Mr Hough said.
“At this stage we don’t see another storm developing over the next few days and temperatures should hover in the low 20’s.”
