The vineyard will be celebrating between 9.30am until 2.30pm.
Douglas Vale will be welcoming spring with a day packed full of fun and surprises and with a chance to experience the lives of pioneer men and women, gardens, vineyard and wines from the cellar door.
There is a fabulous program of all day entertainment incorporating Sing Australia, Khristina Joy and the Z Chords, The Bells of Haven, The Koala Band, Port Macquarie Bush Poets Society and Spiral Time.
Craft stalls, a bargain basement and a treasure trove, children’s book workshop by a visiting author, Westport High School P&C stall and a wonderful exhibition of timber sailing ships built by Douglas Vale member, Ian Goulding will be featured on the day.
Douglas Vale’s delicious Devonshire Teas and tasty BBQ items will be also available.
Volunteers will be doing tours of the Homestead and grounds and tastings from the Cellar Door with an opportunity to sample the newly released Villard Blanc white wine.
This very special occasion also coincides with the “Great Garage Sale Trail” being held throughout Australia.
Plenty of free parking provided and entry is just by a gold coin donation.
