A letter to council: my complaint is that you decided to bury a whale on Nobby's Beach instead of disposing of it in an albeit messy but final way by either towing out to sea, piecemeal if need be at high tide, or taking inland for burial.

The path you chose was a quick fix which leaves us all with a long term problem regardless of how much or little clay it's wrapped in.
Bite the bullet, dig it up and dispose of it properly.
