About 4.50pm on September 13, police from Mid North Coast Local Area Command where conducting patrols when they stopped and searched a Ford Falcon on Ocean Drive.
During the search officers located cannabis and amphetamine.
The driver, a 42-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station.
He has been charged with supply commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, deal in proceeds of crime, and three counts of possess prohibited drug.
The man has been refused bail and will appear before Port Macquarie Local Court on September 14.
