Foundation Day unites the CSU community with a sense of belonging.
The theme for Foundation Day is go red, wear red, eat red.
Activities at the Port Macquarie campus will celebrate the day.
The Foundation Day program features red cupcake giveaways at 11.30am outside the CSU Book Co-op at Lake Innes Village Shopping Centre.
There will be a student-focused Foundation Fiesta in the afternoon, which will include Mexican food, a chilli eating competition and Mat Brooker will entertain with live Spanish music.
Money raised on the day will support the Make a Wish Foundation, Red Cross and Red Kite.
CSU celebrates Foundation Day each year in recognition of the university’s establishment on July 19, 1989, when the Charles Sturt University Act was signed.
