The event was the 14th hosted at the chapel.
There were many tears, lots of laughter and some special memories of loved ones, said Kerry Medway.
“Special thanks to Innes Gardens Staff Debbie Hesse and Kylie Lyons who voluntarily set this up each year and to Jan and Ross Packer from Grace Church for a fabulous morning tea,” he said.
“As we lit candles in memory of mums and called out their names. This year we had three Olgas – it seems each year we have a bunch of wonderful old names.”
Debbie also read a moving poem written by the late Gwen Nelson's son Daniel called ‘Memories of Mum’.
