Their first exams are fast approaching.
UNSW Medicine Port Macquarie head of campus Associate Professor Sandy McColl confirmed their exams would go ahead on April 20.
“We are excited in advance of the exams,” he said.
The students, who started their degree in February, will be the first to undertake a full six-year medicine degree in regional Australia through a major Group of Eight university.
The first year teaching is based at the Port Macquarie Shared Health Research and Education Campus building.
