The successful inaugural launch of The Third Shift in November set the foundation for a regular gathering of creative women across the Hastings to share ideas, enjoy open and lively discussion and support local charities.
The brainchild of Lisa Willows, marketing manager for Lifeline Mid North Coast and Red Earth Records, The Third Shift launched as a fundraising initiative for Port Macquarie News editor Tracey Fairhurst.
Tracey participated in the Hastings Stars Dance for Cancer raising $5000 for the NSW Cancer Council.
Lisa’s vision brought together some of Port Macquarie’s most influential and hard-working women in a highly creative and charity-inspired networking event.
All funds raised on Friday night will be directed to Jessica Higgins, a young local mum fighting aggressive breast cancer.
You are invited to clock on for the Third Shift at the Latin Loafer between 5pm and 7pm, enjoy some wine and canapés, light entertainment, be inspired by painters Melinda Casey and Adam Murray who will be completing a visual performance art pieces. It could be yours by the end of the night.
Reiki shoulder massages will be available, thanks to Jodie Alaban at OTATO as well as healing chakra alignment. Kara Durose will be giving beauty advice.
Tickets are $40 and available at www.livetix.com.au
