A motorcyclist from Queensland is in a serious condition after an accident with a truck on the Pacific Highway on Wednesday night.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted a 58-year-old man suffering multiple injuries including a bleed on the brain, numerous fractures and a collapsed lung to John Hunter Hospital.
The accident occurred at about 11pm on the Pacific Highway at Kundabung involving the motorcyclist and a B-double.
Police said the incident occurred when the B double was allegedly trying to overtake the 500cc motor cycle.
Investigations are continuing with statements being obtained and dashcam footage being viewed.
