Everyone is welcome to join the yoga class on October 16 at 8am at Town Beach.
The class will be jointly taught by local yoga teachers and is accessible to anyone regardless of age and experience.
“Our first Beach Yoga class is all about bringing the community together to support a good cause,” Denis Juelicher said.
“This year we are raising funds for If We All Had Wings, an organisation set up by three wonderful women in our community, whose lives have been touched by cancer and who know first-hand how difficult it is when someone has to deal not only with severe illness and its treatments but also the financial toll this takes on the family.”
If We All Had Wings raises funds for local families affected by cancer.
For this yoga class, the teachers will offer their services for free.
Attendance is by donation.
The class will be followed by a communal breakfast and the draw of raffle prizes.
Muffins, fruits, cakes and other breakfast treats will be available for a gold coin donation.
