Taylor has quit for personal reasons.
Although he will still be on hand to help out at home games, he is unable to continue with the heavy load of day-to-day, behind-the-scenes work for the club.
"The Boardriders owe Craig a massive debt of gratitude," secretary Jim McCormack said.
"Without his hard work the club would never have returned to the Hastings League.
"Few people realise the amount of effort he has put into keeping the Boardies afloat, everything from chasing sponsors, operating the canteen, working on the gate and helping out as 'water boy' and stretcher bearer carrying injured players from the field.
"And there were so many official Hastings League meetings to attend.
"We'll need half a dozen volunteers just to fill his shoes."
During tomorrow's meeting, scheduled for 4pm at the Fernhill Tavern, members will elect a new president and the board will decide on a coach for 2016.
"All players and anyone else keen to help keeping the Boardies a going concern are urged to attend," McCormack.
"Prospective sponsors are most certainly welcome."
The Boardriders have also expressed their condolences to Craig's wife Trish, yet another Boardies stalwart, on the recent passing of her mother.
