Saints went behind twice but fought back to level both times and almost snatched a win at the death in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League match. Devrimol, one of the senior members of the team, stood up well just when Tony Judge needed him to.
He could have had a hat-trick but hit the post.
Devrimol headed a good cross from Michael Snow home, and he cleaned up the crumbs to score after a good shot from Michael Smee.
Snow looked to have beaten the keeper as the clock wound down, with a great volley at the back post.
A brilliant save somehow kept the ball out of the Rangers' net.
Coach Tony Judge said he thought his team had got the lead.
"I was already jumping," he said
A couple of mistakes did Saints no favours. One left the Ranger striker clear of the defenders and he made no mistake in scoring. Devrimol was an obvious standout on Saturday.
"He produced the goods," Judge said.
Anthony Jamieson was also strong as usual.
The third-placed Saints head to Old Bar next weekend. The Port team is just one point from Wallis Lake.
"They're always tough down there," Judge said of the Barbarians on their home turf.
