Consistency the key for Saints
THEY are seven points behind Camden Haven Redbacks but Port Saints coach Tony Judge hasn't given up hope of chasing them down for the Football Mid North Coast minor premiership.

"That's what you play for and there's a lot of football to be played yet," he said.
"We want to stay at the top and I'll be reinforcing that to the boys at training."
Saints host Kempsey Saints this weekend in a match which looms as a divine clash and a goal-fest if their last encounter is any indication.
Judge will ask for a more stable defensive effort than their round two performance after his side leaked three goals in that eight-goal thriller.
"We want to be harder to break down because they outplayed us for long periods in that game," he said.
"We're expecting another tough game which is what you expect at the top end of the table."
After last week's 7-2 rout of Tuncurry Forster, Judge will hope for similar performances from attacking forces Ibby Khodary and Tyson Devrimol.
The two attackers will provide a point of difference this weekend after they scored four goals between them a week ago, but a question mark remains over the fitness of Khodary with the answer to become clearer in coming days.
"What we do with Tyson this week depends on the fitness of Ibby. A lot rides on his ability to get through training [last night], but he's still a 50/50 chance at this stage. He's an important player for us," Judge said.
"Last week Tyson played a more attacking role for us and he combined really well with the front three."
Judge was confident the effects of Ramadan would not affect his hat-trick hero Khodary in coming weeks with his three goals last week providing the evidence to that.
"Ibby performed really well last week for us so we're confident he'll be okay," he said.
The return of Luke Rogers from concussion will provide another attacking option in the front third.
Dakota Stafford missing from Port FC lineup
PORT FC will miss one of its hardest workers tomorrow for its match against Old Bar at Tuffins Lane.
Dakota Stafford, who covers more kilometres than just about anyone, has picked up too many yellow cards and will sit out the match through suspension.
FC was yesterday set to bring Sam Wilson into the midfield as he continues his comeback from a broken leg.
He will join Jordan Morris and big Tom Salter in the thick of the action.
Wilson came off the bench late on in the team's 3-2 loss to Macleay Valley Rangers last weekend.
FC finished that match on the front foot, but couldn't get that elusive equalising goal.
Coach Tony Wilson wants his team to start a match on the front foot.
"I know we've got it in us, because you've seen it," he said.
"We started against United like that and we started against Wallis Lake like that."
FC won those matches in strong performances this season.
The team has had some lows in other games, like against Old Bar in April when the southern team gave Wilson's men a touch up, winning 4-0.
Wilson hoped that win would be on Old Bar's mind when the players take to the paddock tomorrow.
"I'm hoping they [Old Bar] come out like that," he said, referring to possible complacency in that side.
Only way is up for Port United
PORT United coach Chris Walsh is confident his team has turned a corner and gotten over a flat spot in the Football Mid North Coast Premier League.
Walsh his team had gone from "world beaters to struggling" in recent weeks, but he is certain the team can get back in the winner's circle in tomorrow's match against Macleay Valley Rangers at Dangar Street, Kempsey.
He's identified the issues and Walsh is confident the team can turn it all around.
"The results will show this weekend," he said.
"We've hit the bottom and I think we can come back up."
The self belief, which can take a long time to build but can be destroyed rather quickly, is returning.
Striker Matt Broderick is back from a holiday and ready to add to his goal tally in 2015. He's scored nine so far.
"Streets ahead of everyone else," Walsh said.
Defender Brendan Prince is out with injury. He damaged ankle ligaments. Walsh has roped an old face back into the fold to cover for Prince. Damien Cross has gone from retiring in 2015 to playing reserve grade to playing first grade again.
"He's one of our best players," Walsh said.
Dangar Street has been a happy hunting ground for United in recent matches.
The Green Bloods' last win there was in a gripping penalty shootout in last season's preliminary final.
United won 7-6 on penalties. Each team took 12 shots from the spot.
Goalkeeper Luke Jennings was the hero last September. He saved four penalties and scored one of his own.
A win would set United on the way to finishing the season strongly.
Walsh and co's final position on the table is now out of their control. All the team can do is keep winning matches.
Three points from every one of the remaining matches would take the team to 36 points.
League leader Camden Haven is already on 24.
