The Sharks have set the benchmark of the Group 3 competition but captain coach Matt Shipway said none of that mattered.
"Breakers are a good side," he said.
"They've had an indifferent start to the competition but we've got to respect them.
"Especially the likes of Daniel Dumas and Mitchell Fowler.
"We've got to give them the respect they deserve and shut them down where we can."
It will be a tough ask for some players from both sides who will play in two blockbusters in as many days.
The North Coast side which contains a number of Sharks and Breakers will play in Camden on Saturday.
They will travel back, attempt recovery, and play in the massive Group 3 game the following day.
Shipway said it will be a big ask.
"If we are going to beat the Breakers we really need every player on the park," he said.
"So hopefully there won't be any injuries, but I'm expecting everyone to be ready to play on Sunday."
