Both sides have beaten each other once during the regular season leaving the final as the ultimate decider for the year.
Tigers coach Troy Bell said the club's success has come from unity.
"A lot of our success has been because we've kept most of our players together," he said.
"We have a really good club feel, everyone gets along and plays for each other."
They will be up against a team that has rebuilt from hardly fielding a full team 12 months ago.
The Blues have turned their fortunes around to take out the minor premiership and also the favourites tag for the final.
Bell was wary of the Blues line-up
"They've got a lot of youth and experience and they are enthusiastic," he said.
"Chris Hanlon has lead them well and they have a good hooker in Luke White and they have some young quick backs."
But Bell said it was the forwards which he would look to boating arguably the best pack in the competition. "Our strength is in our forwards," he said.
"If they can't get on top our backs will have no room, we need to dominate the ruck to get on top."
While he was looking for the likes of Beavan Castles and Blake Debreceny to make inroads up the middle he was just as reliant on the man that will steer the team around in Troy.
Troy has taken to the first receiver role this year after previously playing at hooker.
The Blues have slowly been building to tomorrow.
Captain coach Chris Hanlon said it has been a five year turnaround.
"Over the last five years it's been a massive building phase," he said.
"We've been taking little steps building towards this weekend."
He said it was no secret his backline was the teams best weapon.
"Our whole back line is very strong," he said.
"And Comboyne's strength is obviously in their forwards.
"So I think it will be a very interesting but tight game."
The game kicks off at 3pm tomorrow at Wauchope's Lank Bain Oval.
