Led by the ever reliable Keith Hollis, who scored a try and made an astounding 22 hit-ups and 27 tackles, the Dragons ran in seven tries to two in the 32-8 romp.
Trent Dixon crossed early in the fixture to kick-start the points tally before Nathan Millar hit back for the visitors. Jesse Gleeson then crossed to give the Magpies an 8-4 lead but it was as close as they would come to victory for the rest of the day.
From the 26th minute onwards it was all Long Flat who scored through Jason Smith and Dixon again to take a 12-8 lead to the sheds in a half that saw no conversions.
Winger James Arden scored in the corner to extend the Dragons' lead before Corey Milgate finally guided the ball between the posts as he converted a try to Mitch Johnson for a 22-8 lead.
Josh Henry crossed next before workhorse Hollis ended the day with a bang. Milgate converted once more for the final score of 32-8.
