The Grahams at No.3 start to set up their display at the beginning of December.
It takes about two weeks to get everything arranged, with gran doing a lot of the work, according to 17-year-old Kody who lives her grandparents.
This year the Newman Senior Technical College student helped paint the Minions, characters from the animated movie Despicable Me.
They are new to the display as the Grahams replace items to keep their collection fresh.
This year they are accepting donations from people for the paediatric ward at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
And if you pass by on a Friday or a Saturday and make a donation you can share in their barbecue dinner.
The Grahams always greet passers-by with a friendly smile and enjoy meeting fellow residents and visitors.
There are about seven homes in the street who all put on a magical display so it is well worth the drive.
Sarahs Crescent King Creek has long been a favourite street to visit.
In years gone by, some vendors have even set up in the street to provide refreshments as people trawl along.
There is also a well decorated home on the Oxley Highway before you get to King Creek Road but just remember you are on a busy highway and don’t just slow down.
The best idea is to pull over if you want to have a good look at any of the homes, otherwise you could cause an accident.
In Fern Close all seven homes have been decked out and look forward to visitors making their way around to wish all a Merry Christmas.
It might be a bit of a drive to head to Camden Haven to see the Christmas lights displays but with the stunning weather we are enjoying you can head off along Ocean Drive before dusk and enjoy the sights.
We hear there are three spots where extra effort has made homes light up the night sky at Bonny Hills.
There is also a place worth checking out at Laurieton and one at Kew which you can catch on the return journey if you are from Port Macquarie or Wauchope.
No doubt you might find a few more along the way, and if you do, let us know as we will update our map up until December 22.
