He said Barnaby Joyce - who wants to be leader of the Nationals - and the Nationals' candidate for Page, Kevin Hogan both supported logging in national parks.
He said this consistent with views of other Nationals in the NSW Parliament.
"So what I want Mr Gillespie to do is tell the electorate which of the national parks in Lyne he thinks should be logged?" Mr Oxenford said."
"Does he support logging in Queens Lake Nature Reserve or Dooragan National Park? What about Tapin Tops or Barrington National Park... does he support logging those?"
"The logging industry is calling for a million hectares of national parks to be logged... does Mr Gillespie agree with Barnaby Joyce and put this industry above the long term benefits that come from forest protection?
"If so, he needs to be honest with the people of Lyne and tell us which national parks he'd like to see logged and which, if any, he'd protect," Mr Oxenford said.
