It is an event that anyone can try, especially those who want to try something different and exciting.
The program will cost $20 per person, which covers the entire four-week period and also goes towards your joining fee if you decide to sign up. It also covers insurance.
Dragon boat paddling is the fastest growing water sport in Australia. There are different levels for everyone from the never-before-tried to the experienced dragon boaters.
There will be accredited coaches on hand to provide the necessary training with essential equipment, such as paddles and life jackets, supplied for you.
Anyone interested in taking part is asked to go to the club’s boat holding yard located at the Marina on Bay Street at 7.45am.
You will need to wear suitable clothing that will get splashed and also a bottle of water, sunscreen, a hat and suitable footwear.
