I WOULD like to congratulate Lake Cathie/Bonny Hills Progress Associations and common sense in finally achieving the school to be built in Area 14.

This site has always been supported by the LC/BHPA as part of the Urban Design Master Plan for Area 14.
The site has sufficient land that will allow for street parking, bus set down and pick-up areas, local and regional sporting facilities along with change rooms and toilet facilities.
It is a shame it has taken so long as the school could have been built earlier if Leslie Williams and the Future Schools Committee had supported the LC/BHPA and not tried to divide the communities by insisting that the school be built on the site in Lake Cathie near Woolworths which is now to be sold by the NSW Education Department.
I hope in future, Leslie takes a more positive and supportive role for the communities she represents instead of being led by the O’Farrell Government which has already sold out our local teachers and nurses.
