The recently reconstructed intersection of King Creek Road and Sarahs Crescent was excavated and replaced on Wednesday because of quality issues with the asphalt used for the final sealing of the intersection.
The line marking was finished yesterday.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council general manager Tony Hayward said, following an inspection of the intersection work, the council came to an agreement with the local contractor to ensure the longevity of the reconstructed road.
“We have made a commitment to our community to provide better-quality roads and that means council and its contractors delivering high-quality outcomes,” Mr Hayward said.
