Taste Magazine is the brain child of advertising whiz Kathleen Norman.
Three years ago, the Port Macquarie News employee joined forces with the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council to compile a collection of top restaurants, cafes, providores and more.
Now an independent annual publication, Mrs Norman remains pleased with its success.
"I wanted to make it personal and have a face behind the business," she said.
"It's a good size, which you can throw in your glove box."
Taste will be loaded to the Port News website for a year and is an insert in Friday's paper.
There is a map in the centre highlighting where each of the hospitality businesses can be found.
"It's something a little bit different," Mrs Norman said.
