Trainer Anthony Dable will send the mare to Kris Lees’ water walker at Cessnock for what he terms “a working holiday.”
“She will have a couple of weeks down there which means she retains her fitness, it keeps the pressure off her joints yet she is having a freshen up,” Dable said. “Then I will bring her back and get her ready for a first up tilt at the Queen Of The North.
“I want to see how she measures up against better class horses then we will see where we go with her.”
Another horse headed for the water walker at Cessnock is the Marc Quinn trained Sadler’s Wish which scored a runaway win in the Barrier Signs Benchmark 55 (2000m).
