The federal minister announced the public exhibition of a refined concept design for the Pacific Highway upgrade between the Oxley Highway and Kempsey.
The Port Macquarie airport upgrade, which received a $15 million federal government injection, was also a talking point.
Preliminary work will start at the airport upgrade next week.
