Two tables' worth of tickets are still available, and people are urged to get in and secure their seat at what's sure to be a great night. There are also six "exclusive" tickets left, where Punters will get to sit at the same table as Walsh and Ambrose. Those tickets cost $200, while a regular ticket will set you back $125. A table of 10 costs $1200.
That will get you a three-course meal and drinks package. The pair are expected to speak candidly about their careers, when they formed one of the great fast-bowling partnerships. Town Green Inn functions manager Katy Tompsett expected a late rush of ticket sales.
"Port's a pretty 'last-minute' place," she said. "But there are a lot of really excited people."
Ambrose and Walsh will sign autographs and conduct a question-and-ansswer session as part of their visit. There will also be a function of memorabilia items at the end of the night, with proceeds going to the Port Macquarie Oncology Unit.
