Mrs Williams said she was delighted the NSW Government had decided to provide the extra money so the community workers who help our most vulnerable men, women and children receive long-overdue pay rises.
The extra funding means pay rises of between 23 and 45 per cent over the next 10 years to workers employed by non-government agencies like the House with No Steps, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Sunnyfield, Mission Australia, the Salvation Army and Anglicare.
“These social and community sector workers provide essential services,” she said.
