AN extensive police search of bushland bordering the Pacific Highway near Hastings River Drive yesterday has led to one man being captured and charged with aggravated break and enter with intent in company and numerous associated traffic matters.

He was bail refused to appear at the local court today.
About 12.40pm yesterday, a 24-year-old Fernbank Creek Rd resident was alerted to two males inside his home.
The males left the location with the victim contacting triple 000.
When police arrived, they were told by witnesses that two males were seen running across neighbouring paddocks.
With the aid of a police dog, a 26-year-old male was located over 3 kilometres away hiding in shrubbery along the banks of the Hastings River with an amount of money.
He was arrested and conveyed to the Port Macquarie Police Station.
A abandoned white Ford Laser was found nearby that police are investigating for any possible links to the alleged crime.
