The blaze began on November 6 and sparked an emergency response which included several Rural Fire Service (RFS) crews and about five firefighting aircraft.
RFS officials believed the fire was lit as three separate ignition points but investigators were forced to wait until the blaze was extinguished before they could probe the incident further.
RFS Inspector Ben Shepherd confirmed to Fairfax this morning that the investigation was finalised and the fire "appeared to be the result of arson".
He said the incident had been handed over to police for further investigation.Anyone who could assist police in tracking down the person responsible should contact Crime Stoppers on 18000 333 000.
