Bago Magic gained a reprieve and wowed them on Saturday with a great performance .
Even home invasion victim Ernie Whitfield had a happy twist in the tale of his week by celebrating the wedding of his daughter in his own backyard.
To keep that good news flowing as we start to turn our thoughts to Christmas, there are two things you can do this week – and you’ll have to register for both.
Firstly, start by registering for Port Macquarie Hastings Council’s Horizons workshops which start tomorrow. If you don’t turn up to have a say, you’ll have little chance of agitating for that sports field or cycle path you’ve dreamed of.
The other registration is for those who are putting up Christmas lights displays. Bring a smile to the local kids’ faces as they are driven around by their parents in December.
It’s time to start celebrating 2012 and family time, as well as telling council what we want our future to look like.
