NSW Tourism chairman Sam Fizman and Tourism Minister Sandra Nori will in Port Macquarie on Thursday to attend a meeting of the Board of Tourism NSW.
Both will attend a tourism industry cocktail function at Hastings Council from 5.30pm.
“I am delighted the Minister will join the chairman and the Board of Tourism NSW and I will encourage the local tourism operators to join the Tourism Taskforce at the cocktail function,” Hastings Mayor Cr Wayne Richards said.
Hastings Council Director of Corporate and Community Services Ann Quadroy said a presentation on the Hastings Measurement System would be made to the group.
“This will highlight the advantages of being involved in such a program,” she said.
Meanwhile a show featuring the Koala Hospital and Sea Acres will be seen by 20 million people in May.
A production crew from Guangzhou Television (GZTV) is visiting NSW recording a tourism style program that is aired to 20 million people weekly in Guang Dong province in China.
The crew are expected in Port Macquarie for filming this morning.
