A truck fire on the Pacific Highway at Herons Creek has kept emergency service crews busy overnight.

Around 3am on January 31, Fire and Rescue NSW crews from Wauchope and Port Macquarie and Rural Fire Service crews from Sancrox/Thrumster and Lake Innes were called to the scene after reports of a truck on fire.
A Wauchope Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson said when crews arrived the truck was fully engulfed.
"Crews were called to the scene just after 3am and found the truck fully alight," they said.
"The truck was a carrying groceries and was extinguished by crews assisted by the Hazmat team from Port Macquarie."
No one was injured in the incident and the salvage and recovery of the vehicle is underway.
At 8.45am one land northbound on the Pacific Highway at Herons Creek is still closed.
