Across two ceremonies on December 17, at The Glasshouse, students graduated from a range of faculties including Education, Health, Arts, Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences.
CSU deputy vice-chancellor professor Heather Cavanagh said graduation is one of the highlights of the academic year and that she looked forward to welcoming graduates, their families, friends, and the community to celebrate this special event.
"I congratulate our graduating professionals on the successful completion of their studies with us,” professor Cavanagh said.
“It’s rewarding to be involved in the education of the next generation who will stay on in the region and enrich their local community.”
CSU vice-chancellor Andrew Vann also made the trip to Port Macquarie for the graduations and said it was a special day for everyone.
“Graduation day is a special moment for not only the graduates themselves but also for their friends, family and peers who have watched them get to this point,” Mr Vann said.
“Today in Port Macquarie we are seeing lots of happy students recognising the hard work and dedication they have put in over a number of years.
“It is also a great opportunity for our teaching staff who have mentored and taught them right through their degrees to congratulate them and wish them well in whatever the graduates do next.”
