Country superstar Amber Lawrence will be perform songs from her Kids Gone Country album on Friday night, and Saturday will see her perform the National Anthem at the official opening and Grand Parade as well as a selection of her favorite songs.
Also on Friday and Saturday night will be the all-new Rooftop Express Show, Heroes of the Outback Arena Spectacular, and the exciting Lone Ranger Stunt Show, never before seen at Wauchope.
There will be fireworks on Friday night, and the ever-popular smash-up demolition derby. Living Australia is coming down from Brisbane, showing off skills like making butter and brooms.
Dairy cattle, beef, poultry and goats will be on display, with horses in the main ring, and the animal nursery. The much-loved Wood Chop is at 2.15pm in the main ring on Saturday before the Grand Parade. Sideshow operators have promised bigger and better rides, and the food is always fabulous.
“It will be a great show, bigger than ever,” said Wauchope Show Society president, Neil Coombes.
As usual the members of the Wauchope Show Society committee, its directors, stewards, life members and others in the community have been working tirelessly to present the events in a traditional yet modern showground that is well-maintained and is the pride of the local community.

Gate admission prices are: adults $15, aged pensioner $10, child under 16 $5, group (two adults and three children) $30 and two-day pass (two adults and three children) $50, which must be pre-purchased from the show office before April 5.
