The charity golf day, on February 25 will be at the Port Macquarie Golf Club and will have two competitions, a professional round in the morning before an amateur round in the afternoon, which will be followed by an auction.
Organised by Marine Rescue volunteer Christine Dickson, unit commander Greg Davis said that the day would not be possible with out her.
“Our golf day is an annual event which Christine organises and it is only with her hard work and dedication that it can go ahead,” Mr Davis said.
“We have a 6am start for the professionals with a winners presentation straight after, before the amateurs play from 1pm.
“After all the games are played we will also be having an auction where generous businesses and people in the community have donated some incredible pieces including a number of pieces of artwork and a golf buggy.”

Mr Davis said the golf event is a fun, relaxed day on the green with games and activities on the course along the way.
“I want to encourage people to put in a team and play in the competition because it is such a great day and everyone has a lot of fun,” he said.
“Last year it was almost rained out and we still had nearly 200 people come and show their support so we are hoping the weather is nice and everyone comes and enjoys themselves.
“We will also have activities on the course with some holes having nearest to the pin competitions and quizzes to take part in.”
