The collection bin near Oxley Oval was set alight during the early hours of February 19 with all of the donated contents inside destroyed.
Lifeline business manager Kurt Russell said destroying valuable donated goods given generously by members of the public hurts the entire community.
“The bin was packed with clothing and other donated items. It really hurts everyone involved with Lifeline because we rely on those bins, to raise money so we can give back to our local community,” Mr Russell said.
“It’s a sad day for our donors, supporters and the people we are trying to help with suicide prevention services.
“Lifeline pay big money to buy and maintain those bins and today we are really disappointed.”
It is not the first time Lifeline Port Macquarie has been impacted by fire vandals.
